Kempton Karate Club students shine at FCMA championships

Among the 22 students who took part, they raked in 35 medals-15 gold, 14 silver and six bronze.

Kempton Park Karate Club represented South Africa at the Full Contact Martial Arts (FCMA) International Championships in Durban on October 19.

The team competed in traditional hard forms, traditional contact fighting and kick-boxing.

Between the 22 students who took part, they raked in 35 medals -15 gold, 14 silver and six bronze.

This included 10 Durban international events champions, three double golds, one triple gold, 11 national colours, eight president colours and seven development colours.

The students’ individual results were:
