Fundraising for Jennifer-Lee’s dancing journey
Jennifer-Lee will participate in the Freestyle World Championships in the UK in June.
Jackie Houseman hopes to raise funds to help her daughter Jennifer-Lee.
Jennifer-Lee will participate in the Freestyle World Championships in the UK in June and was also awarded a full scholarship to attend the MOB Dance Camp in Italy in July.
“We have a concert planned for the end of April and a golf day for June to raise funds to cover travel costs for visas, flights and accommodation,” said Jackie.

She said that towards the end of last year, Jennifer-Lee attended a competition called the On Board, where she was invited to attend the Project Aim Convention which took place in March on the MSC Orchestra.
According to Jackie, on the cruise, Jennifer-Lee modelled and danced with many other talented youngsters.

“The experience was one to be remembered, the days were long with lots of events taking place and Jennifer-Lee modelled for the first time on the cruise,” she said.
She added that Jennifer-Lee was awarded the second runner-up for the dancing category and had the opportunity to meet with an international talent agent where she was awarded a full scholarship.
“Jennifer-Lee and I will be travelling to the UK for the Freestyle World Championships in June and then after that we will be heading to Italy.”

The golf day to raise funds will take place on June 14 at Benoni Country Club.
“We are looking for players, hole sponsors and prize sponsors for the day. A concert featuring Andries Botha will take place on April 30,’’ she said.
