Sox Rams beat Cobras Grey
Red Sox Rams opened the scoring in the top of the first with two two-base hits.
Kempton Park’s Red Sox Rams played away against Cobras Grey in the senior reserve league on August 13.
Jason Tucker collected four hits in five at bats as Red Sox Rams defeated Cobras Grey 19-5 on the day.
Tucker hit a solo home run to centre field in the second inning, doubled in the third inning, singled in the first inning and singled in the fifth inning.

The Rams added to their early lead in the top of the second frame after Tucker smashed a home run over to centre field.
Red Sox Rams added to their early lead in the top of the third inning after Tucker doubled and Husain Ibrahim stole home, each scoring one run.
Cobras Grey responded with five runs on three hits in the bottom of the third inning.
Kempton Rams scored six runs from five hits in the top of the fourth inning.
Among the run scorers in the fourth were Glen Barnard, Neal Dowling, Lance Larsen and Chris Stone.
At the top of the fifth, Red Sox Rams scored five runs on six hits when Niel Marais grounded out, scoring two runs, Ibrahim singled, scoring one run, Anthony ‘Scrubba’ Halvorsen singled, scoring one run and Larsen doubled, scoring one run.
Dave Otto earned the win for Red Sox Rams.

The starting pitcher surrendered two hits and one run over two innings, striking out one and walking two.
In the end, the loss went to the hosting side, Cobras Grey.
They went five innings, allowing 19 runs on 23 hits, striking out three and walking three.
Stone threw two innings of shutout ball for Red Sox Rams in relief.
They allowed one hit, striking out three and walking three. Red Sox Rams piled up 23 hits in the game.
Barnard and Larsen were a one-two punch in the line-up as each drove in three runs for Red Sox Rams.
Stone, Halvorsen, Ibrahim, Otto, and Jules Tancrel each collected multiple hits for Red Sox Rams. Barnard, Stone, Halvorsen and Ibrahim each stole multiple bases for the Kempton side.

Red Sox Rams ran wild on the base paths, accumulating 16 stolen bases for the game.
Cobras Grey had patience at the plate, collecting eight walks for the game.
Ismael Slamdien and Remoun Trimmel led the team with two free passes each.
Slamdien stole two bases.
Cobras Grey collected six stolen bases for the game and did not commit a single error in the field.
