Local athlete on an unstoppable winning streak
Young Cassidy Bosman is on her way to the top as she keeps winning competition after competition.
Cassidy Bosman is making great strides on the athletics scene.
The 15-year-old has won yet another competition.
Bosman won the U16 4km race at the SA Schools Cross Country Championships that were held in Polokwane at the end of September.

She has been selected as part of the CGA team that is set to take part in the SA 10km Road Championships, to be held in Secunda on November 4.
Bosman is an athlete who does get nervous and is very aware of the competition around her.
“Since my victory at SAs, I have made the mental shift and have become an athlete that is more focused on the task at hand,” she said.
Her coach, Michael van Aswegen, spoke to Kempton Express. “I couldn’t be more proud of the growth she has shown over the past year that I have worked with her.

“She has developed into an athlete with immense tenacity and drive and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for her,” he said.
Michael added that if Cassidy keeps doing what she is doing, she will reach heights she never thought were possible.
