Walk-in registration for Thembisa Mile and 10km announced

Registrations and collections can be done on October 27 between 10:00 and 18:00, on October 28 between 08:00 and 18:00 and on October 29 between 05:00 and 07:00.

Walk-in registration and race number collection for the Thembisa Mile and 10km run/walk will take place at the Moses Molelekwa Arts Center next to Makhulong Stadium.

Registrations and collections can be done on October 27 between 10:00 and 18:00, on October 28 between 08:00 and 18:00 and on October 29 between 05:00 and 07:00.

For the elite runners, the race offers a total prize purse of R100 000.

The late registration fee for the 10km run/walk is R170 and R60 for the One Mile.

Online entries are available at www.thembisamile.co.za on a first-come first served basis.

Online entries will close at midnight on October 26 or when the maximum race capacity has been reached.
The race is open to a total of 3 000 entries.

For the elite runners, the race offers a total prize purse of R100 000.

The men’s and women’s 10km winners will each take home R5 000, while the invitational Mile winners will win R4000 each.

SPAR Goodiebags will be given to the first 2 000 entries.

All registered finishers will receive a bronze medal while gold medals will go to category winners.

Vision View TV will provide a complete live streaming of the Thembisa Mile and 10km on the day of the race from 07:00 to midday.
