Local karate students excel at tournament

The champion students walked away with medals at the recently held Gauteng tournament.

At the back are Stefan Coetzee and Lucy Myburgh who both qualified for the upcoming SA tournament, Serani Allen who won bronze for kata and Sensei Wim Kruger. In the middle are Jandre’ Myburgh who won gold for kumite, Theo Botha who qualified for the tournament and Levi Wells who won bronze for kata. In the front are Ruben Bishop (gold for kata and kumite).

Dynamic Karate and self-defence students excelled at the Gauteng Tournament held on April 17 at the Ellispark Stadium in Johannesburg.
