Rams rake up massive win over Benoni’s Mochicans
Kempton Park's Red Sox Rams secured a 31-5 victory over Benoni's Mochicans at the game played in Benoni.
It’s senior baseball season and Kempton Park’s Sox Rams were in action against the Benoni Mochicans in Benoni on Sunday.
Rams secured a 31-5 victory over Mochicans.
The Rams got on the board in the top of the first innings after Chris Stone, Neal Dowling, Dave Otto and Vincent Metcalf each scored one run.
The Kempton Park side extended their early lead with three runs in the top of the second thanks to RBI singles by Husain Ibrahim and Neal Dowling.
Rams scored six runs from five hits in the third innings, including runs on the board from Linette Stone and a two-base hit from Jason Tucker.
In the fourth inning, Jason Tucker homered to right field, scoring two runs.
Red Sox Rams scored 16 runs in the fifth innings to secure their win away.
Chris Stone held back the batting onslaught of the Mochicans striking out six players.
