Curro Serengeti learner excels at cycling series

Curro Serengeti learner Bella Grobler continues to shine as a cyclist.
She recently competed in the second race of the Cycle Lab High School Series.
“Donning the prestigious leader’s jersey, Grobler faced immense pressure to maintain her top position.

“However, she rose to the challenge magnificently, ensuring that the leader’s jersey remains with Curro Serengeti,” said Lara de Castro, school marketing manager at Curro Serengeti.
Adding to her list of accolades, Grobler competed in the Provincial XCO Championships on June 1.
De Castro said the race proved to be a true test of her skill and determination.
“Despite encountering a mechanical issue when her chain came off on one of the obstacles, Bella’s quick thinking and resilience saw her promptly fix the issue and reclaim the lead.

“Her performance secured her the title of the 2024 Gauteng Provincial XCO Champion,” added De Castro.
De Castro said Grobler’s achievements were a testament to her hard work, dedication, and the support of the Curro Serengeti community.
