Avion beats Kempton in final
Having won all five previous matches against Midrand, Benoni, Bedfordview, Duduza and Thembisa, Avion arrived at Bar A to meet Kempton Park.
In the recent final round of the Easterns Premier League T20 competition, Avion Park Cricket Club met long-time rivals Kempton Park CC in the sixth and final round in the Pool B match.
Having won all five previous matches against Midrand, Benoni, Bedfordview, Duduza and Thembisa, Avion arrived at Bar A to meet Kempton Park CC.
Avion won the toss and elected to bat, scoring 180 runs for the loss of five in 20 overs.

They bowled Kempton out for 154 in the 19th over, giving Avion a win of 26 runs.
It was Avion Park’s first win over Kempton in over 15 years, making it special.
The best bowlers for the day were Kayle Da Ascencio, who took three wickets for 22 runs in four overs and Ruan Janse van Rensburg, who took three wickets for 17 runs in three overs.
The best batsmen of the game were Nathan Groble, who scored 46 runs and Brendon Schmidt, who scored 52 runs.
