Red Sox players shine at National Masters Baseball Tournament

Kempton Park’s Red Sox made their mark at the National Masters Baseball Tournament, with the Easterns side bringing home top honours and individual awards.

Players from Kempton Park’s Red Sox recently competed in the National Masters Baseball Tournament hosted at the Randburg Mets Baseball Club.

The Easterns side delivered an outstanding performance, claiming gold in the Elite section and securing both gold and silver in the Challenge divisions.

In the Veterans division, Western Province took top honours.

Individual accolades went to Drean Pretorius, who was named Best Batter, and Jacques Groenewald, who earned the Most Valuable Player (MVP) award, both representing the Easterns team.
