Kempton Park High to host key hockey fixture

Hoërskool Kempton Park has invited the Kempton Park community to support an exciting boys’ hockey fixture scheduled for March 20.

The school’s teams will take on rivals Hoërskool Nelspruit in what is expected to be a competitive afternoon of hockey at the school’s Astro Turf.

“Our first team will face our rivals, Hoërskool Nelspruit, in what promises to be a competitive and entertaining match,” said Henrico du Plessis.

The fixtures will take place at Kempton Park High School, with matches scheduled as follows:
• U14 boys: 15:00
• U16 boys: 16:00
• First team: 17:00

The school has encouraged learners, parents, alumni and residents to attend the matches and show their support.

“We encourage learners, parents, alumni and all members of the Kempton Park community to attend and support our boys as they represent the school with pride on our home astro,” said Du Plessis.

Organisers say the community’s presence will help create a vibrant atmosphere and boost the spirit of school hockey.
Residents are encouraged to attend and support the teams on the day.
