“Our goal is to educate and equip individuals about homosexuality and the struggles that they experience daily. We want to emphasise the importance of the LGBTIQ family unit’s integrity and survival.
“It will aid in the fight against dependency, juvenile delinquency, rejections, family disintegration, illegitimacy, illness, and discrimination. We want to assist those who are experiencing difficulties by providing counselling and professional assistance.
“Together we can make a difference and together we can fight to overcome.
“We will hold educational workshops in schools and in the community to promote common understanding by assisting the younger and older generations in dealing with rejection, being judged, and being unloved by their family, friends, and loved ones. Assist them in establishing confidence in who they are as LGBTIQ+ people and how the LGBTIQ community can help us stop the killings and insults.
“The organisation has been highly active in resolving LGBTQI+ and community issues that they confront regularly. We have several examples where there were several family and relationship disputes, as well as individuals who were rejected and abused and who ended up on the street.
“In terms of counselling, professional aid and processes, and legal assistance, we’ve been able to form partnerships with SAPS, social development, Powa, and Clinic TAC. We’re still evolving, and we hope to be of use to the community in the future.”
The NPO welcomes donations.
“We don’t have the resource to work with stationery, offices, laptops,” said Buthelezi.
