Ram-BEATZ covers more than just one genre with their music
RAM-BEATZ Productionz recently shot their first music video in Kempton Park.
The company consists of Ramkae Mendez and the company’s first artist, Able G.
Mendez, who works part time at a music store, creates and masters the beats and music, while Able G does the vocals.
Although they have produced a lot of songs, this is their first music video. Here we are, featuring Able G and NatureSoul, was shot on the corner of West Street and Central Avenue.
They create music in different genres.
They said their use of hip-hop, electro, R&B and pop, covered a huge section of the population. It suits them as they do not want to cater for one audience only. They also scout their audience and see what the people want before starting with a new project.
The music video, Here we are, is a new and different presentation of music. Able G said the vocals were in different languages with the chorus in English. He said this united the verses and people.
Working in a music store, Mendez gets the rare opportunity to see what new equipment is on the market and what would be the best to use in what situation.
Able G (24) made it to the second round of South African Idols season 9 and shared the stage with the likes of H2o, Optical Illusion, Zulu Boy, Maggz and Hidden Force.
