
FRIENDS of Modderfontein Library will host a coffee morning on March 28 at the library with guest speaker James Hendry.
James completed an honours degree in wildlife science at the University of Natal, his thesis focussing on the Zulu people and the oNgoye Forest Reserve.
He trained as a game ranger and spent five years in the lowveld during which time he published a number of articles in Africa Wild magazine. He subsequently enrolled at the University of Cape Town and completed a masters in human development.
Members of the public are welcome to attend. The event will start with refreshments being served at 9.30am and the talk will start at 10am. The cost is R20 a person.
