Local beauties in line for Miss Hooters SA

The annual swimsuit pageant will include entertainment which will kick off at 1pm

TWO Kempton Park beauties are among the 18 finalists that will compete in this year’s Miss Hooters SA swimsuit pageant at Hooters Emperors Palace on Saturday.

Michele MacHardy and Michele Harrison are waitresses at Hooters Emperors Palace and have been working there since February 2012. They will be competing with other hopefuls to not only win the crown but represent South Africa in the Miss Hooters World pageant later this year, which was won last year by last year’s Miss Hooters SA, Kirsten Martins.

The annual swimsuit pageant will include entertainment which will kick off at 1pm and will see guests dancing to the music of local entertainers leading up to the main event where the finalists from Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban will strut their stuff from 4pm.

Rugby fans will also be happy to know that there will be live screenings of the Super Rugby matches. Well-known South African electro-swing and dance group, GoodLuck, will keep guests dancing long after the new Miss Hooters has been crowned.

Tickets are available from Hooters Emperors Palace at R120 and R150 on the day.
