Model hobby exhibition at toy store

The exhibition is open for all those who are interested in model making

CAVES Toy Store will host its second Aladdin’s Caves Hobby Exhibition and invites all enthusiasts of model making to attend and share their models and also have them on display for others to enjoy.

The hobbies show, which is the brain child of the toy shop Greenstone Shopping Centre, is a club for those interested in model making of all sorts.

The exhibition will include displays of model aeroplanes, tanks, ships, planes and trains, as well as interactive demonstrations and scene building.

According to the organiser, Sandy Arbuckle, the show is open for everyone to attend, young and old, and not just club members.

“All participants are welcome to attend the show and also contribute to the exhibition, from model makers of plastic models, wooden ships and even dolls,” Arbuckle said.

“Pop in and bring the children too; model making can be a lifelong hobby, offering hours of pleasure. The exhibition will be a great opportunity to see the skills of other model makers.”

The show will run from June 27 until June 6.

Caves Hobby Club meets on the third Thursday of every month at Cappuccino’s at Greenstone.
