Top designers feature at East Rand Wedding Show

One lucky couple will win a Dream African Bush Wedding worth over R70 000

FRESH off the SA Fashion Week ramp, leading local label Fundudzi by Craig Jacobs will join an impressive line-up of the country’s top bridal brands that will be showcasing their collections at the first East Rand Wedding Show.

Taking place on July 12 and 13 at Emperors Palace Centre Court, the show promises to be the answer to the needs of every bride-to-be and will feature over 130 of SA’s leading wedding specialists, exciting live demonstrations, awesome give-aways and prizes.

The East Rand Wedding Show is the first wedding show to offer three incredible competitions at a combined value of R200 000. One lucky couple will win a Dream African Bush Wedding worth over R70 000.

The second competition will involve a live wedding trivia competition where 10 couples will battle it out to win a VIP wedding package valued at R125 000. The third interactive and fun get-sticky-with-it competition will offer show visitors prizes valued up to R10 000 a day.

African inspired label Fundudzi, which is globally renowned for its ethical and eco stance in its designs, will lead the line-up at the event’s innovative power half hour fashion shows.

These shows will give visitors an opportunity to not only experience a high-wattage fashion show, produced by Frankly Wild, but also gives prospective brides the opportunity to get up close to the creations and engage directly with each designer or representative.

Fundudzi by Craig Jacobs will be featuring its forthcoming spring summer 2014/15 collection, which was first showcased at SA Fashion Week earlier this year and made history for being the very first to be showcased at Africa’s busiest airport, OR Tambo International.

Other labels participating in the power half hour shows include the David Tlale brand, Pronovias and Olivelli.

Doors will open at 9am and tickets are R70 when booked online at www.webtickets.co.za or R90 at the door.

The entrance fee will include a show magazine, shopper goodie bag and full day access to fashion shows and demonstrations.
