Plenty of adrenalin fun expected at Gauteng Motor Show

The annual show takes place at Rock Raceway in Brakpan

The City of Ekurhuleni is the official proud host of Gauteng’s biggest motor show.

The  11th premier sporting event will bring all the fun and adrenalin to Brakpan’s Rock Raceway with a line-up featuring drift racing, drag racing, SuperMotor, V8 sprints and the Red Bull X Fighters Stunt Show.

This annual automotive action will bring an unforgettable experience to all motor enthusiasts from July 25 to 27.  The times are scheduled as follows:

•    Friday, 25 Jul: 4pm to 9m
•    Saturday, 26 July: 9am to 9pm
•    Sunday, 27 July:  9am to 9pm
Visitors to this year’s show will also be able to view three stunning top of the range Audis.

The Audi RS 7, with a 560-horsepower V8 lurking under its stylish hood, represents the most potent model in Audis line-up.

This bold beast boasts all of the luxury and technology enhancements for which the four-ring brand has become known. Developed and assembled by Audi’s boundary-pushing performance division, Quattro GmbH, it boasts a powerful 412Kw & 700nm of torque and completes a 0-100km/ hour sprint in just 3.9 seconds, with top speed governed at 250 km/hour.

The ultra-stylish Audi S3 Sedan Quattro doesn’t shy away with features such as 380nm of torque at high speed, top speed also governed at 250km/hour. Lastly, the Audi RS Q3 Quattro features a hot 2.5-litre, five-cylinder direct injection turbo-petrol engine, with 228Kw & 420nm of torque, going from 0-100km/hour in 5.5 seconds.
