Awesome cars and delicious food at Casa Caritas fête

IASCA South Africa, an international car audio competition, will be at the fête to hold a sound competition as well as a show and shine

THIS year’s Casa Caritas annual fête promises to be nothing other than an action-packed display of awesome cars, delicious food and loads of fun and entertainment for everyone.

The fête aims to raise funds for Casa Caritas, a home for handicapped people.

Happening on September 6 on the grounds next to Casa Caritas, this year’s show will be even better than the previous years because IASCA South Africa, an international car audio competition, will be at the fête to hold a sound competition as well as a show and shine.

In attendance will be the Chevrolet SS Club, which held a motor show back in February to raise finds for Casa Caritas, and other car clubs are invited too.

Not only will the event have beautiful cars on show but all aspiring beauty queens in Kempton can enter the Miss Casa Caritas modelling contest which will be on the day.

Popular Afrikaans singer, Gerhard Steyn, will also keep the audience entertained with his famous ballads and a variety of food stalls will be offering everything from boerewors rolls to pancakes for the children.

And speaking of the little ones, they will also be kept busy with jumping castles and a big water balls.

Books, gifts, toys and home-baked goodies will be on sale on the day and donations of clothes and toys are requested by Casa Caritas for their jumble sale.

There are still stalls available for anyone who would like to exhibit or sell their products.
