All things Portuguese at Carnival City

With more exciting announcements still to be made over the coming weeks, A FESTA PORTUGUESA 2014 is coming, ready to surprise and delight beyond expectation

FROM September 23-28 Carnival City will host all things Portuguese.

Hot on the heels of an exceptional first year’s success in 2013, A FESTA PORTUGUESA will once again deliver a cultural Portuguese

extravaganza like no other.

Fabulous food, business networking, tradition and fun, that’s the recipe A FESTA PORTUGUESA 2014 is set to serve up in presenting the many sides

and personalities of the mediterranean-hugging home of the Fado.

“We want people to leave with a better understanding of our culture,” event organiser Paula Fernandes said.

Music takes centre stage too, from new local singing sensations, popular international Portuguese artists, to a beautiful dance duo turning heads everywhere they play.

Add beer, wine and port and a general lust for life, and A FESTA PORTUGUESA 2014 is guaranteed to make even more fans out of locals, curious and hungry to explore the potential of what this prosperous nation has to offer. From food and vendor markets to fine dining, family experiences and original entertainment,

patrons can pace themselves comfortably in the knowledge that they will have five full days to indulge all of their five senses.

With more exciting announcements still to be made over the coming weeks, A FESTA PORTUGUESA 2014 is coming, ready to surprise and delight beyond expectation.

Tickets to A FESTA PORTUGUESA 2014 cost R80 a day for adults and R40 for scholars, students and pensioners, and are available through Computicket or at the box office at Carnival City Casino and Entertainment World on event day.
