Celebrity chef at SA’s first Cake and Bake Show

The Cake and Bake Show’s inaugural show will take place at Sandton Convention Centre on November 22-23.
With the launch of The Cake and Bake Show’s Facebook Page in September 2013, thousands of South African baking fans showed their passion for the industry.
Chefs like Gordon Ramsay and Eric Lanlard are twitter followers. This is testament to the nation’s passion for cake decorating and bread baking.
A renaissance in the home baking industry is happening the world over. Social statistics show the market is alive with chefs, young and old, trying their hand at baking.
Celebrity chef Eric Lanlard, AKA Cake-boy, will be in South Africa to headline The Cake and Bake Show. He will launch his latest books and share his easy and incredible tips and tricks to launch the World of Cakes, Breads, Tarts and Puds in South Africa.
There will also be a Bake Boss 2014 Competition. The winner of the competition will receive the latest electric mixer from Kenwood, in the colour of their choice, valued at R6 000.
Tickets are sold at the door or online at R80. The show runs from 10am to 7pm.
