Fun day at horse academy
Proceeds of thed ay will go to Cismart Equestrian Academy

CISMART Equestrian Academy will host a fun day on Saturday, November 8 at the Bredell netball grounds opposite Bredell Spar on the corner of third Avenue and Sixth Road.
The non-profit academy is a therapeutic riding school situated in Bredell, specialising in horse therapy for disabled children and adults such as deafness, Down’s Syndrome, cerebral palsy and autism.
The therapy is said to have the ability to give riders the feeling of freedom and “normality”.
Sixty-five people are enrolled at the academy.
According to the organiser of the fun day, Johan Jordaan, the audience can expect to enjoy horse riding, music and lots of prize give-aways.
“The event will have a flea-market feel to it with jumping castles, face painting and other entertainment. This is all to raise funds for the academy,” he said.
Jordaan said the academy relied on donations and contributions from the public.
The entrance fee to this event is R10 for people 12 years and older.
Included in the line up for live entertainment is Jason Bradley and others.
All those attending are requested to bring their own picnic basket and gazebo.
The event will run from at 8am to 2pm. For more details, call Jordaan on 072-057-1211.
