Make your dream wedding a reality at the Wedding Expo

Lucky brides-to-be also stand the chance of winning the grand prize of a R320 000 wedding and honeymoon

PLANNING your big day is more than just about the dress, the cake and a fabulous reception – that’s why the Wedding Expo is here to help you transform your wedding day into an extraordinary experience.

Taking place on Saturday and Sunday at the Dome in Northgate, SA’s favourite bridal event will connect you with exhibitors showcasing everything from the perfect wedding stationery to beautiful blooms, breath-taking wedding gowns to gorgeous jewellery, tantalising table décor to hedonistic honeymoons.

“The Wedding Expo also offers the opportunity to interact with some of South Africa’s top wedding planners, photographers and caterers and get expert advice on financial and legal matters. This hands-on advice is invaluable and usually comes at a premium, but at The Wedding Expo, this is just part of what is offered to ensure your wedding day goes off without a hitch,” Alison Fyfe-Turck of the expo said.

There will also be other awesome activities taking place over the two days, including a brand new feature in the expo this year called ‘Make Me A Bride’, where lucky volunteers will be transformed into a spectacular bride for one day; getting their hair and make-up done by professionals and also be dressed in a wedding gown. But only three women on each day will have this opportunity – will you be the chosen one?

Included in the programme are inspiring daily fashion shows that offer visitors the opportunity to grab a seat in the front row and catch a glimpse of the latest and most beautiful bridal trends in wedding apparel for both brides and grooms. From couture designers to ready to wear labels, there is sure to be something for every taste.

You could stand a chance to win a fabulous weekend at the Khaya Ndlovu Manor House in Hoedspruit valued at R7 500 by just voting for your favourite table décor at the special display of tables by creative exhibitors.

But the grand prize that will surely convince you to attend the expo is the chance to win a R320 000 Multiflora wedding at Diamond 4 Estate as well as a honeymoon at Khaya Ndlovu Manor. Entries will only be available at the expo and you must be there to win. Saturday finalists will be back on Sunday for the finals at 3pm.

The entrance fee is R120 a person. Fashion shows take place daily at 11.30am, 12.30pm and 2.30pm. Competition draws are also daily at the same times.
