Live music and delicious eats at Allen Park fête

Singer David Fourie will be on stage as the main act

ALLEN Park’s annual fête is back this year with even better entertainment and even more delicious food treats.

The fête will be on May 9 from 8am until 2pm.

Singer David Fourie will be there to entertain guests with his popular tunes and other acts.

The fête will be a festival of music as Kempton’s Pipe Band is also set to be on stage and Laerskool Edleen’s choir will sing sweet melodies for the oumas and oupas.

The event will be great fun for the whole family as kids will have their own special entertainment from Eddie The Clown as well as pony rides. Line dancers will also be a part of the fun.

Over 40 stalls will be set up on the day and Allen Park is in need of donations for its white elephant store. All kinds of second hand goods that people aren’t using any more can be donated, including old furniture, appliances, cutlery, crockery, ornaments, CDs, clothes and anything else that’s collecting dust in your garage or backyard.

All types of yummy food treats will be up for sale and if you love traditional, home-baked goods, make sure you don’t miss out on the fête.

With so much fun and amusement and over 40 stalls set up for the market, this is the perfect outing for the whole family.
