SA Guide-Dogs Association hosts winter festival

Entrance is R20 per person

AS the winter chill creeps in, come and join the South African Guide-Dogs Association for a festival of fun at their upcoming Winter Family Fun Festival on June 28.

The market will include several interesting stalls, fun activities for children and a variety of delicious food stalls to tempt the palate.

There will also be arena events offering insight into the work the association does, such as a guide dogs demonstration, a blindfold challenge and kennel tours.

There will also be a puppy fancy dress, live entertainment, a tea and beer garden.

Entrance is R20 per person.

Other notable attractions at the market include the famous guide-dogs second-hand book sale and a white elephant stall.

The festival will take place at the Gladys Evans Training Centre, 126 Wroxham Road, Paulshof, from 10am to 4pm.

It promises to have something for everyone and is sure to be a wonderful day out.
