Councillor gets leak fixed in hours
No other calls made showed any response
CORRIE writes:
After numerous calls and reference numbers from May 27 about a water leak on Dreyer Street in Pomona, the problem only got worse.
On Tuesday, August 4, at 9.49am, I sent ward councillor Pieter Henning an email regarding the leak, being concerned about the water waste.
This was no problem for Mr Henning as he immediately contacted Amanda van Dyk at the water and sanitation operation department. She responded with a new reference number at 10.08am and at 11.24am my neighbour phoned to inform me the contractors were repairing the water leak.
It’s amazing what our councillor can do for our community.
