Food needed for Christmas hampers
Residents are requested to donate non-persihables, cookies, sweets, etc.

A resident of Van Riebeeck Park, Margaret Alberts-Ross, is again collecting food for Christmas hampers for the elderly in the community.
“The gifts are always from the residents to residents. We are trying to bring the meaning and spirit of community back,” she said.
Van Riebeeck Park, Kempgate, Elgin, Brentwood Park, Bonaero Park and Birchleigh Pick n Pay branches will also donate goods.
She hopes to hand out the hampers in the second week of December.
Residents are requested to donate non-perishables, cookies, sweets, etc.
