Tembisa will become alive with Phomolong Comes Alive festival

They have also decided to give local artists some play time and exposure.

Tembisa will come alive when the Phomolong Comes Alive summer edition fest hits town on December 7 at the Phomolong Sports Ground.

Live on stage are Mzansi’s favourate artists such as Master KG, Stillo Magolide, Malumz on Decks, DJ Sumbody, Makhadzi and many more.

Proudly presented by Zimbi Entertainment and Matjebe Entertainment, this summer edition music fest will see a number of local artists sharing the stage with some of the country’s top acts in the music industry.

Speaking to this paper, Zimbi promised nothing but a humdinger of a show.

“This is absolutely going to be a show to remember. We have booked a number of top acts to entertain our patrons. We have a well-balanced show for everyone,” he said.

He said they have also decided to give local artists some play time and exposure.

“This year we have decided to give Tembisa’s own artists mileage to showcase their crafts and also to show that as a brand we are committed to giving and supporting our local based musicians,” he continued.

“We want to make this event a family show for all and we have therefore decided to make our tickets much more affordable. Our tickets are already on sale at computicket outlets. General tickets are selling for R100 early bird and R150 pre-sale. VIP tickets are going for R200 and R250. We deliberately designed the pricing of tickets to suit our people. Remember, the festival will be hosted just as we begin the festive season, and we are aware that many people will be

using money to buy clothes, food and school uniforms.

Top comedian Mashabela Galane has been roped in as MC of the show.
