Double Blacks One Man Show to be hosted in Ivory Park
Double Blacks to host One Man Show in Ivory Park.
Double Blacks Entertainment presents the first Double Blacks One Man Show at Ivory Park Youth Centre on December 6.
The comedy duo from Ivory Park appeared on SA’s Got Talent in 2015 and stole the hearts of audience members with their costumes and performance. They were the runner-up act in the competition while DJ Arch Junior was crowned the youngest DJ to win the national competition.
Moses Chauke and Mpho Mngadi have been “brothers” since primary days. The duo continues to win audiences’ hearts, from street performances to prominent stages, including winning private companies’ attention for commercial theatre shoots.
Once more they will be looking to usher in the best laughter at their home when they host their One Man Show at Ivory Park Extension Two.
Moses Chauke, one half of the duo, said their comedy is categorised as edutainment as they educate while they entertain.
“We address social issues while making people laugh. We believe that it is not easy for someone to forget what they learnt while laughing,” said Chauke.
“Since we are heading towards the festive season, we saw it fit to entertain people while addressing issues that are likely to arise or worsen during this time of the year,” added Chauke.
The duo has also shared the stage with some of the country’s finest comedians and celebrities like their home boy Chomi Ya Jesu (2019 Best New Comer Comics’ Choice Awards), Skhumba , Steve Kekana, Stop Nonsense, King Flat, Yvonne Chakachaka, Moloko and Mashabela, to name a few.
“Our comedy is perfect for the whole family because we keep it clean. The show starts at 6pm,” added Mngadi.
Tickets for the show are available at R100 and R120 at the gate. To get hold of tickets please contact Chauke at 072 144 9738 or Mngadi at 083 441 8612 or Samkelo Mkhabela at 073 768 2239. For more details, contact Sbongile at 065 255 2988.
