Money and perfumes allegedly robbed at pharmacy

It is alleged that over 10 armed suspects robbed a pharmacy of perfumes and an undisclosed amount of cash.

Ekurhuleni District detectives are investigating an armed business robbery incident that occurred at the Dis-Chem Pharmacy Glen Acres, last Thursday.
According to Capt Jethro Mtshali, spokesperson for Kempton Park SAPS, it is alleged that there were more than 10 suspects involved.
“It is alleged that the armed suspects entered the place and pointed firearms and threatened the staff,” said Mtshali.
“The suspects allegedly robbed the place of various items such as perfumes and an undisclosed amount of cash from the tills and sped off in an unknown mode of transport.”
Mtshali told Express that no injuries were reported. Investigations continue.
