King's School netball teams excel

The school’s goal attack Tshepiso Mogorosi was voted the player of the tournament receiving six women of the match awards.

King’s School netball programme participants performed well after participating in two recent netball tournaments.
The school’s u-16 and open netball teams excelled at the Southern African Christian Schools Sports Association nationals.
The event was held in early May and the u-16 team claimed the title of national champions while its u-19 team placed third.
Most recently the school’s u-14 and u-17 teams competed at the Pinnacle Cup hosted by Pinnacle Rynfield where they too excelled.
Held from May 14 to 16, the school excelled again with its u-14 team finishing third and its u-17 team finishing the tournament undefeated.
The team scored 156 points and only conceded 16.
Goal shooter Chumile Marareni was the top point scorer with 105 points and the school’s goal attack Tshepiso Mogorosi was voted the player of the tournament, receiving six women of the match awards.
