Seven suspects arrested for alleged hijacking.

Anonymous tip off leads to multiple arrests

An anonymous tip-off to the Ivory Park SAPS led to the arrest of seven men for the alleged possession of three hijacked motorcycles and other stolen property on June 16.
“The three were arrested in Ivory Park's Ext Seven by SAPS and assisted by the community,” said Ivory Park SAPS spokesperson Captain Ben Matimulane.
Matimulane said after receiving the tip-off, the police attended the address where they found the suspects stripping the motorcycles.
They were arrested and taken to the Ivory Park SAPS for detention.
The two vehicles, which the suspects were using to transport some of the parts, were confiscated.
“The suspects will face charges of possession of suspected hijacked property and possession of the suspected stolen property,” said Matimulane.
