Leeto Clinton Gasetlole is a South African DJ professionally known as DJ Leeto.

He was born in Vosloorus but is now based in Winnie Mandela, Thembisa.
Leeto started his career as a DJ in 2014 when he was 16, then become a professional DJ at the age of 20.
“I started out by being a sound guy for a company called Mzi Audible sound hire. That’s where I learnt my DJ-ing skills,” said Leeto.
He added that he was never lucky enough to have someone to teach him how to deejay.
“I play amapiano music because it makes people happy and most young people enjoy listening to amapiano songs, so I love seeing them happy and dancing,” he said.

In addition, he said that he also plays ampiano because he enjoys its unique sounds and power, along with its ability to change people’s emotions.
Leeto shared that currently, he is not working on any music project, but he’s focusing on his brand called Leeto Lamusic.
He said that he has played at various well-known events and places around Thembisa, including The Weekend, Hang Awt, Pizza Sunday, Street Food Market and the kota festival.
“My role models are Kabza de Small and Jaivane. I just like the style of music they play and how their music is unique,’’ he told the Thembisan.
Leeto said that in future he sees himself producing his own music and having his own studio where he will be helping other young deejays to improve and learn more about deejaying.
“I also see myself owning a club where I will be providing an opportunity to local deejays and musicians to showcase their talents,” he added.

He advised other deejays to work in silence and let their work speak for them, and never mind the criticism that they get from people.
“The biggest thing is to know your goal, and never give up,’’ he said.
