EMPD impound six cars in Kempton Park By-Law Operation

Cooking pots, tables, trolleys and fresh produce were among items confiscated during a by-law blitz that also saw six vehicles removed.

The EMPD’s By-Law and Compliance Unit, together with the Northern Region Task Team Unit, conducted a by-law enforcement operation in the Kempton Park CBD on November 29.

During the operation, goods were confiscated, and vehicles parked illegally were impounded.

The operation targeted Kempton Road, Greyling Road, and Pretoria Road. Officers confiscated a variety of items, including cooking pots, traditional bags, gazebos, socks, white tables, trolleys, and fruits and vegetables.

In addition, six motor vehicles were impounded for illegal parking.

During the operation, goods such as cooking pots, traditional bags, Gazebo, socks, white tables, trolleys as well as fruits and vegetables were confiscated.

All impounded vehicles and confiscated goods were taken to the Kempton Park pound, and the By-Law and Enforcement officers disposed of the fruits and vegetables.

These operations will continue across the city to ensure that Ekurhuleni remains safe, orderly, and clean.
