Bitcoin Wallets hacked, investors gather at Ladysmith police station in KZN

It is alleged that the staff of Bitcoin Wallets were assaulted and brought to the police station.

A crowd of over 200 angry people are currently gathered in front of Ladysmith police station, demanding to see Bitcoin Wallets manager Sphelele ‘Sgumza’ Mbatha, Ladysmith Gazette reports.

It is alleged that staff of Bitcoin Wallets were assaulted by angry investors and were brought to the police station.

Many investors have not been paid out as yet, and the business has now switched to online.

Numerous accounts have been hacked after logging into the online site with their details.

This was confirmed by Bitcoin Wallets manager Sphelele ‘Sgumza’ Mbatha in a radio interview on Nqubeko FM  on Tuesday (July 9).

On air, he explained that he had received reports that some people’s accounts were being hacked as soon as they logged into the site.

If you are owed money by Bitcoin Wallets and have been asked to go online to collect it, be warned: This is a scam! Numerous accounts have been hacked once logging into the site with their details.
