Possible dagga shortage in Krugersdorp

An ordinary railway patrol led to the discovery of a dagga plantation in Lewisham.

Potheads and drug addicts around Krugersdorp may struggle to get their hands on the tree of knowledge for a while after railway police make a shocking discovery.

While Gauteng Railway Police were going about their normal day-to-day patrols, they stumbled upon an large dagga plantation.

The discovery was made on 19 January at 9am at the Luipaardsvlei train station.

The officers had their hands full as they loaded a van full of the plant that grows freely in the area.

The dagga plantation allegedly is grown around the railway lines and then harvested and sold to users from all walks of life.

It is yet unknown who the owner/ s of this plantation is/ are.

The load of dagga plants was handed in at the evidence department of the Krugersdorp Police Station.

This is considered one of many successes in combating drug abuse in Krugersdorp.
