Best of the West abuzz on day 1

The Best of the West Netball Festival for primary schools kicked off energetically, with young netball stars battling it out for bragging rights.

The Best of the West Primary Schools Netball Festival at Krugersdorp High School is already alive with action as matches get underway across multiple courts.

Over 1 000 girls between the ages of 10 and 13 have taken to the courts, representing over 135 local schools as well as teams from surrounding regions.

Each game brings fast-paced competition, with players showcasing their skills and determination as they compete for glory.

With the sun blazing overhead, spectators can enjoy a variety of food and refreshment stalls available on site, adding to the vibrant festival atmosphere.

Parents and attendees are reminded to make use of the Shannon Road entrance, as access via Cornelius Mall street is reserved for school staff only.
