The Hekpoort Police is proud to announce that 22 suspects were arrested for several crimes during the month of June.
Crimes include assault with the intent to do grievous bodily harm, theft, drinking in public, illegal immigrants, possession of suspected stolen property, possession of dagga, trespassing and driving while under the influence of alcohol.
Constable Maswanganye, police spokesperson at Hekpoort SAPS says all of these successful arrests were made during normal patrols, crime-prevention initiatives, raids and investigations.
The following property was recovered during the police raid: 100 counterfeit CDs, 56 counterfeit DVDs, 23 knives, one police reflector jacket, beer and homemade brew, and one 9kg gas cylinder.
