Budding artists at KHS’ annual exhibition
Krugersdorp High School's hall turned into an artistic wonderland.
The hall of Krugersdorp High School (KHS) was turned into an art gallery where the artistic talent from the school’s pupils was on display.
During the annual four-day exhibition from 24 to 27 July, members of the public, family members and fellow pupils were able to indulge in the beautiful art that was showcased.
The art pieces included sculptures from air drying clay, paintings in which different techniques, styles and paint mediums were used, drawings, fashion designs and visual art.
KHS is recognised as one of the top art schools in Gauteng, offering subjects such as Visual Art and Design and encourage pupils to explore their talents by giving the young budding artists an opportunity to exhibit their work.
Two artwork items drew the attention of the public and were sold.
