Top 20 geniuses

Krugersdorp High School announces their top 20 pupils for the second term.

One of Krugersdorp High School’s (KHS’s) main objectives is to develop their pupils holistically, therefore it is most gratifying when the school is able to acknowledge them for their efforts – whether it is in the classroom, on stage or on the sports field.

The beginning of a new term is always exciting as the pupils who have excelled academically are acknowledged and the top 20 pupils for each grade are identified and recognised for their dedication

Among the top 6 Grade 11 and 12 pupils it is very interesting to note that there was only one rose among the thorns.

The top pupil for July in Grade 12 is Roberto Companario who boasts an average of 91,6 per cent. Ciaran Maidwell came in second with an average of 87,1 per cent. Hot on his heels is the busy head boy, Julian Pienaar.

Kenwil Julius came out tops among the Grade 10 pupils with an average of 88 per cent. Second and third place were very closely contested between Angela Campetti and Paige Becker with an average of 84,7 per cent and 84,4 per cent respectively.

Ariann obtained a 91,9 per cent average and Alyssa obtained 91,1 per cent. In third place, Chloe Andrews achieved an 88,6 per cent average.

Going into high school from primary school is always a tough adjustment. However, Melissa Toi, Sinead Suter and Chene Strauss in Grade 8 have not skipped a beat!.

The three young ladies have obtained averages of 85,1, 84,9 and 84,6 per cent respectively.
