The Grade 8K class of Monument High School spent an afternoon with the animals at the Krugersdorp SPCA as part of their class’ community project.
This is a school initiative as each class has to come up with a community project. This class decided on the SPCA and collected money, dog and cat food as well as blankets for the four-legged residents at the SPCA.

After dropping off the goods, the class spent some time with the animals. They had the opportunity to walk and pet the animals that clearly were in need of human interaction.
This also gave the pupils some perspective about the work the SPCA does within the community.
At Caxton, we employ humans to generate daily fresh news, not AI intervention. Happy reading!
