Do not stress about your year-end function
The idea is to make the planning of the event as hassle-free for the corporate as possible.

Believe it or not, the year is drawing to a close and arranging the annual year-end corporate function needs to be a priority.
For many corporates the year-end function is a headache every year, especially if the organising is left until the last minute.
“It can be challenging trying to think up a new idea every year that everyone in the organisation will be happy with. What corporates need to remember is that we have a wealth of activities, venues and beautiful scenery right on the doorstep of Johannesburg and Pretoria,” says Trevor D’Oliveira, spokesperson for the Muldersdrift Community Action Group (MCAG).
Now is the time to start planning and preparing for the big event, and D’Oliveira suggests taking a look at the options available in Muldersdrift.
“Only a short drive from Johannesburg and Pretoria, it’s a great area to take employees and customers who would appreciate getting out of the city.
“There are a variety of venues that can accommodate from five to 1 000 guests and offer different settings, activities, menu options and ambiance,” he says.
“Have you considered hot air ballooning, a trip to the Lion and Rhino Reserve, a fishing competition, a day at the spa? All these are options that could be incorporated into the year-end function.
“The MCAG also has been working closely with the SAPS, Community Policing Forum and local community members to increase security measures and raise awareness.
“The area is safe, the scenery is relaxing and the venues are top-class. We’re also on the border of the Cradle of Humankind Heritage Site, which offers exciting day tours and activities should your guests be interested in visiting.”
Most venues offer assistance with event organisation including planning programmes, arranging décor and setting up themed-events.
“The idea is to make the planning of the event as hassle-free for the corporate as possible.
“The end of the year can be a stressful time for companies tying up loose ends before employees knock off for the Festive Season. “So book your venue now and call on the assistance of the venue’s event organiser,” D’Oliveria recommends.
