Learners showcase talent at Mini-Netball and Tau-Rugby day

Learners from schools across the West Rand showcased their sporting talent during Laerskool Millennium’s mini-netball and Tau-rugby event.

Future rugby and netball stars recently took to the field during Laerskool Millennium’s Mini-Netball tournament for U6 to U9 girls and Tau-Rugby matches for U6 to U8 boys.

The event took place recently and, according to mini-netball organiser Anke de Bruyn, it aimed to provide young players with an opportunity to develop their skills and compete against teams from other schools in a friendly environment.

Schools from across the West Rand participated, including Laerskool Randfontein, Monument Primary, Laerskool Krugersdorp-Noord and Laerskool Muldersdrif.

We are blessed to have young learners who are so passionate about netball and rugby, and we are excited to see what the future holds for them,” she concluded.
