Farm available for non-denominational Christians

The primary activity on the property will be restricted to Christian youth or childrens ministry.

The Bible Band had its final general meeting, and is to dissolve as an organisation.

They will donate the ‘farm’ campsite (around 7 hectares) at Damhoek in the Magaliesberg area to a successful candidate.

Applicants must be non-denominational Christian, registered youth or children non-profit organisations in Gauteng.

Only written proposals are welcome.

Short-listed candidates may be interviewed and all candidates will be notified of the outcome.

The terms of the donation are as follows:

? All the transfer and servitude costs related to this property and its use will be borne by the successful candidate.

? The primary activity on the property will be restricted to Christian youth or children’s ministry, while a secondary activity may include any legitimate and Christian-congruent business to sustain the primary activity.

? For the next 20 years there will be an annual gathering of Bible Banders on the farm on 16 December at no charge to them.

? The Bible Band will erect a monument with a narrative to God’s Glory near the campsite entrance.

Closing date for applicants is 31 December 2013.
