Local property group scoops award

The Just Property Group operates 150 owner-operated franchises throughout South Africa.

Just Property Krugersdorp swept the boards at the group’s 2013 Gauteng Regional Awards evening held at The Bryanston Country Club on 21 November.

The franchise was named the Regional Franchise of the Year, Top Performing Franchise of the Year based on percentage growth in turnover and, nationally, the Most Improved Franchise of the Year.

Their top performing agent and co-director for Just Residential Magda Albas, also won third place for the highest number of sales by a Just Residential agent.

This follows a stellar year in 2012 when Just Property Krugersdorp won the award for the most residential sales in the region, the most increased turnover and the highest gross commission earned that year.

“We are delighted with our achievements,” said Gerhard Prinsloo, franchisee of Just Property Group Krugersdorp, which now employs 13 people in its busy Monument office.

Prinsloo attributes his team’s success to a number of factors.

“We pride ourselves on the fact that our sales agents are highly experienced and knowledgeable about trends and markets in this area, so we are able to offer clients valuable advice,” he said. “We also offer free legal services and a guaranteed rental income at a nominal fee.”

The team’s nine agents and four administrative staff members focus on offering a personal service to clients from both the government and private sector.

“All clients and properties are interesting and unique; the challenge is always to identify each one’s specific need and satisfy that need to the best of our ability,” Prinsloo said.

“We work hard at keeping a fresh outlook on the property industry and we welcome competition – it keeps us on our toes. We have maintained steady annual growth since we opened our doors in May 2004 despite the general decline in the property industry from 2008 to 2010, and prospects for the future are looking good.”

The Just Property Group operates 150 owner-operated franchises throughout South Africa. It has become a formidable force in the national property market thanks to its sustainable business model of property management and administration, which employs state-of-the art technology whilst maintaining the human touch.
