New adventure park set to thrill

Hero Adventure Park at Heia Safari Ranch is an adventure sport complex that has it all.

The park has been planned carefully and crafted to provide a thrilling outdoor experience for all adventure sport enthusiasts. It deliberately caters for everyone, from those getting into the lifestyle with their families to those who are driven by personal performance.

The park has been developed within the safe, tranquil and pristine natural surroundings of the Ranch and Lake Heritage in Muldersdrift. The venue boasts some of the most spectacular scenery and game viewing with a true African-style experience. The venue’s facilities include a restaurant, ladies bar, service bar, secure kiddies play area, swimming pool and accommodation. Heia Safari Ranch also offers a comprehensive conference centre, function rooms and team building options are on hand to make your visit and stay a memorable one.

The park is part of a truly breathtaking environment. The undulating landscape is filled with a variety of open spaces, fields, forests, game and to top it all, it possesses one of the cleanest lakes in South Africa.

Every one of the five trail routes have been carved to perfection and incorporates a host of features including a Jeep track, single track, floating bridges, forest trails, fast-winding descents and a couple of heart-pumping hills.

1. Jozi Night Series: The Jozi Night Series Night Mountain Bike and Trail Run event is something for the entire family. 2. Warrior Race: On Saturday and Sunday 1 and 2 February the Park will be hosting the biggest obstacle race in South Africa – the Warrior Race. The team from the race is pulling out all the stops with new exciting obstacles and an amazing route planned for this, the first Warrior Race for 2014.
