Silverstar has a brand-new buffet restaurant, Billy G that is trading with a not-to-be-missed opening offer running until 15 February.
To celebrate the opening of the upmarket, family buffet restaurant, Billy G has a Construction Special of R99 per person valid until 15 February 2014. The normal price for the buffet, offering a variety of hot and cold starters, main courses and desserts, is R165 per person.
“We’re excited to add Billy G to our tenant mix and to offer our patrons a stylish buffet restaurant that caters to families,” says Shane Collinson, Director of Operations and Complex General Manager at Silverstar.
Billy G is named after one of South Africa’s most respected chefs, Dr Billy Gallagher who has many accolades to his name, including that of president of the South African Chefs Association, a position he held for 21 years before becoming its honorary life president. He also became president of the World Association of Chefs Societies and its honorary life president.
Billy is passionate about the industry and continues to plough back his skills and experience to train and develop the younger generation and emerging entrepreneurs. He is currently Chairperson of the School for Tourism and Hospitality Studies and is the Executive Director for the Centre for Culinary Excellence.
The restaurant caters for small and big groups and is perfect to celebrate those special occasions such as birthdays, Valentine’s Day and anniversaries.

Billy G offers delectable dishes such as sushi and pizzas straight out of a wood-fired oven, to name but a few of a wide variety of choices.
As food is always ready at your arrival, there is no delay in waiting for preparation if you’re in a hurry. The bar is fully stocked and staff can accommodate guests with any special requests. You can find Billy G opposite Steak at Shop 3.
The restaurant is open for lunch on Tuesday to Sunday between noon and 4pm and for dinner Monday to Sunday between 6pm and 10pm. It’s open on public holidays for lunch. To book a table contact 011 662 7476. Silverstar card holders receive further savings.
