Night race: expect road closures
Residents can expect road closures around the Khosa Club, affecting the Noordheuwel and Kenmare area for the annual Night Race.

Traffic around the Khosa Sports Club will be disrupted from 7pm tomorrow 5 February for the annual Night Race hosted by the Khosa Road Runners.
Shaun Ulyate, the chairman of the Khosa Road Runners urge road users to drive safely and also to take note of the runners entering and exiting the club and those on the roads for the duration of the run.
“Roads in and around the club in Kenmare and Noordheuwel will be marshalled and traffic will be affected.”
He says access to the parking lot at the club will be restricted from 5pm onwards.
“Persons parking on the club premises will have to note that they may be able to leave the clubs’ parking lot only after completion of the race at about 9pm. This depends on the marshals, the number of runners and the traffic department.”
Vehicles leaving the premises must keep in the right hand lane when exiting and be wary of runners entering the main gate.
“Please assist us by being patient in the traffic and obey all marshals and traffic authorities.”
Shaun says anyone is welcome to partake in the 5km or 15km Night Run, which will cost R25 and R50 respectively.
