Ease the winter chills for a needy child
Become part of the drive and help a needy child this winter.
Putting on an extra jacket or a scarf has become part of many people’s routine when the winter chills start to hit the interior. However not everyone has that luxury.
Founder of NPO Your Education Centre Merafe Thaganyane-Saku has made it the organisation’s duty to help the less fortunate pupils of two schools in Kagiso by warming them this winter.
The two schools are Atholoang and Tshakani Primary Schools.
“Through a project I call Little Things Winter Drive I hope to provide as many pupils as possible with warm clothes before the cold sets in,” she explains.
She aims to collect a thousand pairs of school socks, beanies, scarves and hand gloves.
Those who wish to donate some of these items can call 084 233 2772 to arrange for it to be collected.
