Under construction: site visit with a fun twist

Youngsters inspected the construction site that soon will be a new school.

Parents and pupils recently had the opportunity to visit the construction site of what soon will be Maragon Avianto – a private school that according to those behind the scenes will have no comparison.

Maragon Ruimsig’s youngest, the preprimary pupils joined in on the event; dressed in hard hats to inspect for themselves and see what the talk about the new school is all about.

Preprimary mascot Arni also joined in on the day. While some were hesitant to greet the eaglet, others ran right into his arms.

Maravest’s CCO Jopie Maasdam welcomed parents and shared some of the plans and goals lined up for the unique architectural structure and the pupils that will be attending school there.

Newly appointed principal of the preprimary school Monica de Beer who was also in attendance assured parents and pupils alike that Maragon Avianto not only will be a top educational institution but a big family.

Maragon marketing manager Belinda Espag says that besides the physical foundation that has been laid with cement, a proverbial solid foundation will be laid in the lives of children.

“The school will be a place where dreams come true and dynamic adults are shaped,” she says.
